Broadway at the Beach
Broadway at the Beach occupies 350 acres around a central lake at 1325 Celebrity Circle, making it the largest entertainment complex in Myrtle Beach. Entry to the grounds is free. The complex contains more than 100 shops, a rotating selection of restaurants, and several standalone attractions, the most notable being Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach ($39.99 adult admission) and WonderWorks.
The layout is open-air and walkable, organized into themed retail "villages" around the lake. As a destination, Broadway functions best as an unstructured evening. Groups can split up, browse, eat at different restaurants, and reconvene without coordination. On rain days, Ripley's Aquarium provides a two-hour indoor alternative with a 340-foot underwater tunnel and ray touch pools that justify the admission price.
Evening brings the complex to life. Bars and restaurants along the waterfront fill up, and the area takes on an atmosphere that is more social than commercial. It is not a quiet evening, but it is a convenient one.
Broadway at the Beach is open daily, year-round. Parking is free and plentiful. The complex is centrally located and reachable from most Grand Strand accommodations in 10 to 15 minutes. Individual attraction hours and prices vary. Ripley's Aquarium is the strongest standalone option for families or rain-day planning.
The free-entry, no-commitment format. Broadway works as a fallback plan precisely because it asks nothing of visitors beyond showing up. For a golf trip, that flexibility has practical value.
